What is a remanufactured engine?
A remanufactured engine is a product created by taking a used engine (or “core”)—which has reached the end of its service life or suffered a failure—and subjecting it to professional disassembly, inspection, repair, and the replacement of critical components. It is then reassembled and tested according to original manufacturer technical standards, restoring its performance to a level approaching or matching that of a new engine.
Remanufactured engines are not the same as overhauled engines.
